Terms and Condition

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all padel holidays organised by Tenerife Padel Retreats. Please read carefully. By requesting us to confirm your booking, you are agreeing to enter into a contract formed on the basis of the following
Terms and Conditions.

 

 

Data Protection

 
To process your booking and ensure your sports holiday runs smoothly and meets your needs, we will require certain personal information, such as your name, address, and any special requirements. We take full responsibility for safeguarding this information and have appropriate security measures in place to protect it. Your details may need to be shared with relevant suppliers involved in your travel arrangements — for example, accommodation providers, camp host, coaches and event partners. We may also provide your information to security or credit-checking agencies, public authorities (such as immigration), or as required by law.

All participants will be placed in a WhatsApp group with other members of your event approximately one week prior to arrival. This will involve your mobile number being shared with other participants. If you do not want to be added please contact us by email: tenerifepadelretreats@hotmail.com

By confirming your booking, you consent to your information being shared in this way. You may request confirmation of the personal details we hold about you at any time.
 

Definitions

 

“You” and “your” means all persons named on the booking. “We”, “us” and “our” means  Tenerife Padel Retreats “Host” means the Tenerife Padel Retreats representative in charge of your holiday. “In writing” means by email to tenerifepadelretreats@hotmail.com

1. Bookings can only be made by and for persons aged 18 or over.
 
2. Payment and booking process – If your holiday is due to take place within 6 weeks days of making the booking, you must pay the full cost to secure your place. If your holiday is due to take place 6 weeks+ from making the booking, we require you to pay a non-refundable €100 deposit to secure your place and the remaining balance 6 weeks before the start date of your holiday. A reminder will be sent to you in advance of this deadline. On receipt of your deposit we make the necessary hotel and court reservations, therefore, if the full balance is not paid by the required date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without notice, retain the deposit and seek reimbursement for any additional loss we have incurred. =
IMPORTANT – please do not book your flights until you have confirmation of your place on the camp from Tenerife Padel Retreats.
 
3.Amendments to your booking If you wish to make any changes to your booking such as name changes or extra nights please contact us in writing and we will do our best to accommodate. Please note that not all of the partners we work with allow changes once a booking has been confirmed. It is at the discretion of the particular service to decide whether a name change can be accommodated on a case by case basis.
 
4. Cancellations If you or any member of your party wish to cancel your booking, in whole or in part, you must contact us in writing. To compensate us for the expense of processing your booking and for the risk that we may not be able to re-sell the holiday, we charge a cancellation fee on the scale shown below. Subject to the nature of the cancellation, you may be able to claim compensation from your insurance provider.
 

Cancellation Charges:
6 weeks+ prior to arrival – Loss of deposit
4-6 weeks prior to arrival – Loss of 90% of total
4 weeks or less – Loss of 100% of the total price of the holiday

If two people have agreed to share a room and only one person cancels, the remaining person is liable to pay any Single Occupancy Supplement.
 
5. Cooling off period
We do not offer a cooling off period
 
6. If we change your booking
We plan the arrangements for our Holidays many months in advance. Though it is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements, it does occasionally happen. We reserve the right to make such changes at any time. Most changes are of a minor nature and we will advise you of these changes as soon as possible.

The following are “Significant Changes”
a) Change of hotel

b) Change of destination

c) Change of dates by more than 24 Hours

In the case of any “Significant Change”, you can choose from the following 4 options:
a) Accept the new arrangements
b) Rebook onto one of our other Holidays
c) Receive a credit note for the full amount of your booking to use on future holidays.

d) Receive a full refund.

Any change that is not listed above as a “Significant Change” is a “Minor Change”. Examples of “Minor Changes” include, but are not limited to:
Change of Board Basis: If your Board Basis is downgraded, we will compensate you for the difference in price, ensuring you are only charged for the Board Basis you receive.

Except where we state otherwise, no compensation will be provided for Minor Changes, however we will inform you of such changes at the earliest opportunity, to give you as much time as possible to prepare.

 

7. If we change your booking

In the unfortunate event that we have to cancel your booking and the cancellation is not due to events covered under clause 8, you can choose from the following 3 options:

a) Rebook onto one of our other Holidays
b) Receive a Credit Note for the full amount of your booking.
c) Receive a Full Refund.

 

8. Force majeure

Should we be required to cancel your booking as a result of circumstances classified as Force Majeure, we shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or compensation of any kind.

For the purposes of these terms, Force Majeure describes any situation beyond our reasonable control or anticipation. This may include if it’s raining and the padel courts are not playable to play we are not liable to give any money back due to heavy rain or the courts have been cancelled due to rain. ( We will try our best to reschedule the time during the retreat, we are not liable for any refund if we club cannot reschedule times due to rain.) Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to: war or the threat thereof, civil unrest, riot, industrial action, terrorist activity, public health emergencies, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, or severe weather conditions.

 

9. Package travel regulations

If your trip includes 2 components, sold within the same Package (for example Accommodation & Tennis) then your trip is fully protected through the Package Travel Regulations 2018, which you can read more about here.

If your trip includes only 1 component (for example Accommodation Only or Tennis Only) then your trip will not be protected through the Package Travel Regulations.

 
10. ATOL protection
We currently do not hold an ATOL license and are not able to package flight inclusive packages.
 
11. Insurance
It is imperative that you are adequately insured for your trip. It is particularly important to ensure your policy covers medical expenses & emergency treatment. This, amongst other benefits, will provide cover in the event of cancellations or curtailment due to injury. Injuries do occur from time to time in sport and we do not want you to lose out financially because of them. It is your responsibility to ensure your insurance policy also provides adequate coverage for flight delays, cancellations, luggage issues, amongst other things. We will not be liable to pay compensation for any flight delays/cancellations, luggage issues or other such issues.
 
12. Passport, visas & travel documents
Please check that your passport is valid for the entire duration of your holiday with the appropriate Embassy. A standard British Passport is required, valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned return date. If you are not a British passport holder you may require a visa – please check before booking your holiday. All passports, visa, travel insurance, health certificate requirements and foreign destination advice are your responsibility. Tenerife Padel Retreats accepts no responsibility for any delay or expenses incurred through any failure to comply with passport or visa issues or issues relating to any other travel documents.
 
13. Our responsibility
You will appreciate that many people and companies, over whom Tenerife Padel Retreats has no control, are involved in the planning and provisions of your holiday. Padel Worldwide Ltd has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the supplier(s) of services provided are of an acceptable standard. We will accept responsibility for the proven negligent acts and/or omissions of our employees and agents whilst acting within the scope of their work which result in death, bodily injury or illness to you or any member of your party. However please note: Liability will only be accepted if you can prove that the death, injury or illness was caused by the negligence of Padel Worldwide Ltd, its servants or agents. No Liability can be accepted for any negligent acts or omissions of air or sea carriers, whose responsibilities are governed by international convention, which may limit or exclude liability. We cannot accept any liability for loss, damage or expense resulting from war or terrorist activities threatened or actual, civil unrest, closure of airports, industrial action threatened or actual, or any event outside our control where such events delay, extend or compel a change in holiday arrangements. We shall not be responsible in the event that any named host or coach is not available as a consequence of injury, illness or any other reason beyond our control.
 
14. Padel training schedule
We accept no liability should the Programme be rescheduled as a result of adverse weather. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to compensate for any lost time, this cannot be assured. By participating, you acknowledge and accept that weather conditions may, in full or in part, reduce the court time available. Our resorts reserve the right to amend or cancel events at their sole discretion in relation to our padel programmes.
 
15. Health, Safety & Participation Policy

Given the typically warm conditions at our resorts, we advise applying high-quality sunscreen and taking sensible precautions, such as covering exposed skin and wearing a hat or visor. Please ensure you travel with suitable clothing, sunscreen, and any other essentials required for your comfort and safety in a hot climate. By booking, you confirm that all participants are physically and mentally fit, and capable of meeting the demands of the holiday without assistance from the host or other guests. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and your party understand the nature and requirements of the holiday before confirming your booking. We reserve the right to exclude you from individual activities, or from the padel programme entirely, should the host reasonably consider that participation would compromise your safety or that of the group. If such a decision is made, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements; however, we cannot accept liability for additional costs or provide compensation for missed activities. We may also refuse a booking if we are not satisfied that a participant’s health, fitness, or experience is appropriate for the chosen holiday. Any mobility impairment, disability, or medical condition relevant to your participation must be declared at or before the time of booking, in addition to any insurance-related disclosure. You must also inform us promptly if such a condition develops after your booking is confirmed. Where we determine that we cannot meet your needs, we reserve the right to decline or cancel your booking. In the event of illness or injury affecting you or a member of your party during your holiday, we may make any arrangements we deem necessary and will recover any associated costs from you.

16. Code of Conduct
We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to terminate without notice the holiday arrangements of any participant whose conduct, in our opinion, is likely to cause distress, damage, danger, or nuisance to other participants, our staff, our property, or any third party. If, in the opinion of any person in authority, a participant is deemed likely to cause disruption to others, they may be refused services. In such circumstances, our responsibility for their holiday will immediately cease. Full cancellation charges will apply, and we will have no obligation to provide a refund or cover any costs incurred as a result. Padel Worldwide Ltd accepts no responsibility for the conduct of individuals in their holiday accommodation, nor for any withdrawal or reduction of facilities, or for any loss or damage caused by them.
 
17. Photography & Marketing
By booking a padel holiday with us, you grant us the irrevocable and unrestricted right to capture, use, and publish photographs or video footage of you and any members of your party. Such material may be used across our website, social media channels, advertising, online platforms, and other marketing media, in any format, and may be edited or adapted without limitation. We also reserve the right to hold the copyright for such material.
Padel Worldwide Ltd undertakes never to use any images or footage in a defamatory way and will ensure that all material is stored securely for the duration of its use. By participating, you release both Padel Worldwide Ltd and any appointed photographers or videographers from all claims and liability connected to the use of such material.
If you do not wish to appear in any photography or video, you must inform us in writing at the time of booking, or no later than 48 hours before the start of the event.
 
18. Complaints Procedure
We want your padel holiday to be as enjoyable and trouble-free as possible. If, during your trip, there is anything within our direct control that you feel is not up to standard, please let your host know straight away so we can put it right. Should the issue not be resolved immediately, please send us full details in writing within 28 days of your holiday ending. Unless there is a genuine reason for not informing us at the time, we cannot accept responsibility for matters that were not brought to our attention during your stay.
